I'll be the first to admit I'm not a car person at all, I know how to drive and put petrol in and that's about where my automotive knowledge ends. My current battery has those little caps on top that you're supposedly meant to check and top up with distilled water occasionally, I found out about this embarrassingly recently when a mechanic pointed out the water levels were almost completely dry. Apparently I've been lucky the battery didn't fail sooner. So now I'm looking at maintenance free options where I don't have to worry about checking water levels because honestly I'll just forget again. Came across
Kays maintenance-free battery Al Majaz Sharjah area on car battery replacement sharjah and it seems like exactly what I need, sealed unit no topping up required just install and forget about it basically. My question is whether these maintenance free batteries actually last as long as the traditional kind if you're not the type to open the hood between service intervals, or do they just die without warning one day with no way to check their health beforehand? Also slightly confused because I live in Al Majaz and I'm not sure if these mobile battery services come to apartment buildings or if there's some restriction about working on cars in parking garages, anyone in a similar living situation had a mobile battery replacement done without issues?
